The Wayne-Holmes Association of REALTORS® presented the proceeds from its amazing Community Benefit Auction to three very deserving recipients. Whit’s End Community Place, Share-A-Christmas of Holmes County, and The Lt. Philip Wigal Memorial Scholarship Fund were designated this year to receive funds from the auction.

The Community Benefit Auction held in October was a great success, and we were delighted to share the proceeds with local organizations who do so much for our community.   Share-A-Christmas and Whit’s End are returning benefactors as we can see and appreciate the good things they are doing in our communities.  The Lt. Philip Wigal Foundation is a newer organization, and we hope that our donation has boosted them well over their threshold so they can begin giving back to the community soon. 

A small reception was held in their honor, and each was presented with their “big” check! 

The Wayne-Holmes Association of REALTORS® Community Benefit Auction has been held in October the past two years, however the committee is reviewing this time frame and may alter it a bit in the coming year. 

Stay Tuned! In the months leading up to the next auction, applications forms for benefactors will go out, and nominations will be reviewed.  The Community Benefit Auction hosted by the Wayne-Holmes Realtors has raised over $110,000 in the past two years, and the proceeds have stayed right here in Wayne & Holmes County, Ohio!
